Join us at the Olney Public Library on Saturday, July 25th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm for a hands-on introduction to this relaxing and creative craft. Participants will learn the basics of crocheting, how to read a pattern, and how to stitch a simple dishcloth to take home. All materials will be provided, but pre-registration is required only 10 spots available to reserve your spot. Don’t miss this fun and cozy afternoon of crafting!  Date: July 25th 1-3pm 10 spots only. Registration required.

This hands-on program is perfect for beginners—bring your idea, build your model, and we’ll guide you through sending it to the printer. Yet, the NPS also strives to preserve sites that celebrate the cultural history of regional and local places such as our state. It strives to make "history come alive" in many places. In Illinois, these sites include three National Heritage Areas, 88 National Historic Landmarks, 26 National Underground Railroad sites, and nearly 2,000 locations on the National Register of Historic Places, with some in every county.
